Our Goals
- offer youth, within Lambton County, an opportunity to be successful and to be the best basketball players they can become
- offer all players equal playing time for three quarters (At the start of the season, all players will play almost equally for three quarters. Playing time in the fourth quarter is at the discretion of the coach. In order to continue sharing almost equal playing time, the player must attend all practices and display an appropriate amount of effort.)
- have all teams perform to the best of their abilities
- promote basketball within Lambton County
- provide a high level of skill training
In Order To Obtain Goals
- run recreational leagues at various age levels (backbone of the program)
- provide instructor/officials to safely teach and officiate in the recreational basketball program
- run club teams at various age levels
- obtain commitment from the players, parents, and coaches
- provide the best available coaching technique
- offer our dedicated volunteer coaches an opportunity to attend clinics to upgrade their knowledge of the game
- run clinics and camps at various age levels
- provide the necessary supplies (basketballs, medical, etc.) to conduct a reasonable program
- offer all club teams an opportunity to participate in competitive tournaments throughout Ontario and Michigan
- provide registration fees to tournaments
- provide carded referees to safely officiate tournaments and exhibition games
- provide adequate team apparel
- give gifted athletes an opportunity to participate in both individual and team camps in order to enrich and reinforce their knowledge of the game
- provide registration fees (for house leagues, competitive teams, and/or camps) for players who are in need
